Injury sidelined his Football career and after high school he studied Sports Medicine and Sports Management. He graduated from Joliet Junior College with an Associates in Health Sciences and then transferred to Tulane University where he dual majored in Sports Medicine and Sports Management. He graduated with both his Bachelors and then 2 years later his Masters while maintaining a 3.95GPA and graduating within the top 5% of his class. He worked with the Tulane Football Team for 1 seasons as a Graduate Assistant.
